Baptist Medical Center South announced that it received a 5-star rating for superior quality in vascular surgery by HealthGrades.

 

The hospital is to receive the 2009 Vascular Surgery Excellence Award.  "We are deeply honored by this recognition," Lynn Parker, hospital CEO, said in a news release.  "Our dedicated team of physicians, clinicians and staff has worked very hard to achieve this honor.
